Military installations differ from usual commercial companies and venues. The environment is more structured and procedural, so please pay close attention to timelines we reference in your completed quote.
Things to Note
All advertising on military installations is subject to approval by one or more groups within each installation.
Materials post in a 72-hour window around the desired display date, and run for the entire contracted period. “Day 1” is the desired display date. Extra display days for material that post early are a value-add for the advertiser.
Pricing assumes the creative will remain in place for the duration of the buy unless specified otherwise in advance of the final price quote. Please be sure to include any specific requirements when requesting a quote so that we know to include any additional production, shipping, mounting, display and disposal costs.
Advance payment to the base is required, as it is military best practice to collect all payments upfront. Expect to issue a check for the cost of a campaign no less than 10 business days prior to the desired display date.
Client Purchase Orders are non-cancellable within 60 days of the desired posting date.
The U.S. Government always reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason at its sole discretion. In the event of a cancellation, a proportional refund will be made. Please keep in mind that cancellation is an extremely rare occurrence.
A disclaimer must appear on all materials. The Department of Defense has very specific instructions disclaimer.
Military Out-of-Home provides a turnkey service including production of materials through our vendors from client provided electronic files. This ensures that the content complies with military regulations as well as timely delivery and posting of display material. Clients may be authorized to print their own materials. Regardless of print production, Military Out-of-Home will manage the review of the creative through each base and handle all shipping of finished materials in order to avoid challenges with getting packages through base security in a timely fashion.
We do our best to provide a complete photographic proof of posting within 15 business days of scheduled posting. Prior to that we will send sample photos whenever possible, and confirm on-time posting via email. Proof documents contain a map of base facilities, and individual photos of posters, bowling monitors, banners, etc. Digital video is typically documented via a sample photo and an affidavit.
